We have handcrafted pieces for your dinner table in ocean blue or white pearl with traditional round or scalloped rims. Jars ceramics is named after its French founder, Pierre Jars. All pieces are meticulously handmade and hand-thrown by expert ceramics artisans in the South of France. At least 17 Jars Ceramics craftsmen have worked or inspected most pieces. This stoneware dinnerware is vitrified, meaning each piece is fired at extraordinarily high temperatures up to 2,340 degrees Fahrenheit to make it non-porous and durable.

A unique combination of glazing processes creates the stunning, signature look of each Plume design. Plus, all dinnerware is microwave and dishwasher safe. The inside of each Plume plate, bowl, serving platter, cup and saucer is covered in a pale robin's egg blue or pearly white reactive glaze that adds a high gloss. The outside is finished in a simple matte white for ocean blue pieces and a hue that's slightly darker than white on pearl-finish pieces.
