Jars ceramics is named after its French founder, Pierre Jars. All pieces are meticulously handmade and hand-thrown by expert ceramics artisans in Southern France. At least 17 Jars Ceramics craftsmen have worked or inspected most pieces. This stoneware dinnerware in the color of jade is vitrified, meaning each piece is fired at extraordinarily high temperatures up to 2,340 degrees Fahrenheit to make it non-porous and durable. A unique combination of glazing processes creates the stunning, signature look of a Jars Ceramics piece. Jade Tourron dinnerware is microwave and dishwasher safe.
