Portmeirion Pomona Classic Dinnerware Collection

Portmeirion Pomona Classic Dinnerware Collection

The Portmeirion Pomona Dinnerware and Cookware Collection was launched in 1982 using designs made by the talented artist Susan Williams Ellis. The desirable dinnerware collection features 9 beautiful fruit motifs that were inspired by vintage books. The motifs were inspired by the Late Duke Cherry, Hoary Morning Apple, Roman Apricot, The Wild Blackberry, Teinton Squash Pear, Grimwoods Royal George, Fruit Garland, White Sweetwater Grape, Apple Trophy and The Ingestre Pippin. New motifs are added each year making Pomona dinnerware highly collectible. The dishes have traditional, rounded shapes and are perfect for casual or fine dining. The collection gets its name from the ancient Goddess of Fruit, Pomona.

Pomona dinnerware is sold in sets of 6 assorted styles. Each set contains 1 piece of each of the 6 current designs. Pieces are made in England. They are dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer safe.
